• Do Buffalo project----what the Native Americans got from the buffalo

• Read Legend of the Bluebonnet

• Read Legend of the Indian Paintbrush

• Do Indian Art project

Illustrate an Indian story using Indian symbols with dark crayon.  Crumble paper slightly.  Paint over picture with watery brown paint. 

• Have a Thanksgiving feast with a Native American flair
• Read "Elisabeth's First Thanksgiving"
• Serve deer jerky, dried apples, popcorn, nuts, and pumpkin muffins or cornbread muffins
• Watch Pocahontas movie
