Apple Art - Type and print out poem and attach to center of apple mosaic. In the middle of graph paper, trace an apple. Color the apple yellow, red or green. Then choose two other colors and alternate coloring the squares surrounding the apple.
Make baked caramel apples - Cut apple in half and core. Add one caramel and a dab of butter to each apple half. Add 1/2 cup of water to bottom of pan. Bake apples at 475 for 15 min.

Leaves
Lost in the Leaves Project - On a 3"x3" white square of paper, draw and color something you could lose in a pile of leaves. Write 5 clues as to what the item ie: color, shape, what you can do with it. End with the question: What is lost in the leaves? Fold a 9x12 piece of brown paper in half. On the bottom half, glue on the riddle. On the top half, glue the square in the middle. Trace six different leaves on orange. green, and yellow construction paper. Then glue the leaves down, stem only. Lift the leaves to see what is lost in the leaves.
